Here is the video I referenced in class of the way Little Johnny Brown is traditionally played as a game! It's fascinating to explore the ROOTS where music has sprung out!!

2) Hop over to Spokane Community College this weekend for the Fall Folk Festival...multiple stages of multi-ethnic music of all kinds...a real treat all under one roof!

LATE WINTER MUSIC TOGETHER CLASSES-the STICKS Song Collection

Coming up late winter, the STICKS Song Collection! Teacher Melinda's very favorite of the nine sequential Music Together song collections, y our child will love going for a musical ride with "Ridin' in the Car" and "Trot to Grandma's House" this semester. We'll dance with "Don Alfredo baila," march and scamper with "The Tailor and the Mouse," and go "Pop!" with that good ol' classic weasel! With 23 songs and chants (plus the Hello Song and Goodbye, So Long, Farewell, of course!), you'll have lots of new songs and chants to keep the music going all winter long!
